RISK ANALYSIS OF BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY APPLICATION IN LOGISTICS PROCESSES OF ORGANIZATIONS

This paper provides a theoretical overview of logistics processes and supply chain, the basic terms needed to understand blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, as well as how they contribute to the improvement of logistics processes. An analysis of the potential risks of the application of the mentioned technology was performed, which were shown through the Ishikawa diagram, after which the most important risks were determined using the FMEA method. For each risk, measures are defined that should eliminate/reduce the risk of applying blockchain and cryptocurrencies in logistics processes and thus enable better use of their advantages.
