SELECTION AND CALCULATION OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE PUMP STATION FOR DRAINAGE OF THE ENERGY ROOM OF THE UPSTREAM HEAD OF THE SHIP LOCK OF HPP DJERDAP 1

Abstract

The paper shows the method of selection and the hydraulic calculation of the mechanical equipment of the pump station for the drainage of the energy room of the upstream head of the ship lock HPP Djerdap 1. The pump station prevents flooding of the electro-hydraulic installations of the servo-drive of the upstream gate and the valve. Within the paper are given brief theoretical background of pump operation, hydraulic calculation, selection of mechanical equipment of the pump station and automatic control of the pump station is specified.
