This project represents one of the possible ways to create a smart home system, with a particular emphasis on simplicity, reliability, flexibility, modularity, and low construction and maintenance costs. The system is based on central controllers such as Arduino Nano and WeMos D1 Mini network controllers (WiFi). User interaction with the system is carried out through an Android or iOS application, as well as directly using a keyboard, buttons, a rotary encoder, and a display.
