A technology with great potential, which can play a key role in human's green future, is the technology of phase change materials. This paper presents the mechanism of phase changе materials and their influence on the energy efficiency of the building. Through a theoretical review and conducted simulations in the EnergyPlus program, the effects оf implementing these modern materials on the temperature in the building, energy consumption, potential savings, and reduction of harmful gas emissions are presented.
