Abstract

Digital forensics represents an important field of com-puter science, and one of the most crucial aspects of digital forensics relates to operating systems, which form the heart of every computing device. This paper address-es the topic of macOS digital forensics by analyzing the operating system itself, as well as the methods and tools for macOS forensics. Finally, a case study is presented, demonstrating how some of these methods and tools can be used for digital forensics.
