TRANSFORMATION OF THE ROUNDHOUSE STATION IN NOVI SAD INTO A RAILWAY MUSEUM AND A MULTIFUNCTIONAL HALL

Abstract

Based on the revitalization of industrial heritage and the repurposing of historically important buildings, this paper suggest a solution for the priceless, but derelict and abandoned location of the old roundhouse station in Novi Sad. In accordance with the ideas of revitalization, the proposed solution keeps all the beauty of the existing architecture with the addition of certain elements in order to make a railway museum and a multifunctional hall out of the roundhouse station.
