THE PROCESS OF GENERATION AND STORAGE OF NATURAL GLUE WASTE IN THE FOOTWEAR FACTORY

This paper analysed the specific aspects of waste adhesives in the footwear industry, specifically in the Borovo footwear factory, and presented sustainable solutions for their management. Due to their composition, waste adhesives often contain materials that can be harmful to the environment and human health, including solvents and other chemical substances. The process of natural glue production, the way of storing, transporting and disposing of waste glue with the help of the company CIAK was described, and it was concluded that the Borovo factory adheres to the regulations and socially responsible waste management in order to contribute to environmenatal protection.
