PROJECT FOR THE REVITALIZATION OF ABANDONED BUILDING AND INNER COURTYARD OF THE EVROPA CINEMA IN KRUŠEVAC

Abstract

As part of my master's project, I propose a conceptual plan for the revitalization and adaptive reuse of the abandoned auxiliary building of a cinema Evropa and its inner courtyard in the urban core of Kruševac. The project aims to transform one part of the building into a creative hub and construct a new structure in the courtyard, providing space for relaxation, play, gatherings, and outdoor events. This initiative seeks to breathe new life into the area, demonstrating how it can become a vibrant part of the city life. The project aspires to create a multifunctional space that meets contemporary needs while preserving the cultural heritage of Kruševac, thereby maintaining the city's spirit and inspiring the local community.
