Abstract

Subject of this paper covers modeling and implementation of blinds controller with aim of better use of natural light and power savings. Controller is based on fuzzy logic algorithm which optimizes tilt angle of blinds, and calculates power savings using mathematical model for solar hit gain and additional artificial lighting of the room. Controller is tested with different sets of input parameters to determine impact of controller on power savings.
