Abstract

The concentration levels of formaldehyde emitted in the immediate working flexo environment were detected through absorption and spectrophotometric methods in the paper. The measured concentration levels of formaldehyde were compared with relevant legal regulations in order to assess the impact of emitted formaldehyde on the air quality in the flexo printing facility. Additionally, based on the detected concentration levels of formaldehyde, an assessment of the risk of cancer for employees in the flexo environment was also determined.
