The subject of this thesis is the management of household waste batteries and its importance in the context of environmental protection and public health. The study includes an analysis of battery characteristics, their environmental and health impacts, current waste collection practices in Serbia, as well as the awareness and perception of Vojvodina residents regarding this issue. The goal of the research is to provide a detailed insight into these aspects and propose solutions to reduce the negative impact of waste batteries on the environment.
