Abstract

Detailed procedure on the development of an RPG (role playing game) style computer game. This procedure describes not only the coding and creation of resources for the video game, but the conceptualization, writing and development of the story that the game is trying to tell. Some existing game genres are analyzed in an effort to better understand how to use certain elements of game development, such as positions and perspectives of the camera component, special effects, and look and feel of menus.
