Bucket elevators are devices for vertical transport of materials. As such, they are used in various branches of industry, with the fact that they are often found in the silo industry. Since the devices are of a specific character, it is necessary to take into account the elements of safety and protection at work during their design. They are suitable for the application of automation, which achieves a significant increase in capacity and reduces the probability of injury at work. At the end of the paper, the characteristics of the designed elevator are given.
