Abstract
The project of an autonomous regional trauma center in Oberstdorf examines the architectural and functional aspects of designing a medical facility in a mountainous context. It explores the relationship between healthcare architecture, geographical isolation, and emergency medical care. By utilizing modular architecture and environmentally conscious approaches, the center is designed to provide efficient and independent medical support in areas with limited access to large hospital centers.
