Abstract

In the first part of this paper, the concept of a project, its main characteristics, and classifications are analyzed. Following that, the concept of project management is explained. The second part of the paper focuses on project management methodologies. The main emphasis is placed on the certifications of the Project Management Institute and PRINCE certifications, as well as their comparative analysis.
