The paper presents the theoretical foundations in the field of logistics and warehouse operations, as well as the theoretical foundations of lean philosophy and the impact of lean on warehouse operations, with a special focus on the lean tools Spaghetti Diagram and Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Using the example of the organization Adient Automotive, the packaging process was analyzed through the lean tools Spaghetti Diagram and VSM, based on which optimization was performed and improvement measures were proposed.
