USE OF WASTE HEAT IN DATA CENTERS BY HEAT PUMP APPLICATION

Abstract

This paper discusses the implementation of a heat pump as a tool for utilizing waste heat generated within a data center. The heat pump is used during the winter season to provide heating for the company that owns the data center, while simultaneously cooling the data center. Additionally, a comparison with other heating system is conducted to showcase the benefits and potential of utilizing waste heat.
