Abstract

In this paper, the influence of temperature and mechanical stress on the optical properties of six multimode plastic optical fibers with a diameter of 2 mm was examined in detail. Changes in signal transmission through fibers with different types of damage (notches) are monitored. Four experimental settings were made and the collected results were processed and interpreted.
