Abstract

The master's thesis "Modernization and Advancement of Design Processes in the Modern Age" shows a retrospective of design methods over time and covers four eras that brought significant changes in the field of design. Each era is described based on technological progress, its advantages and disadvantages, the reasons why it lasted for a certain time and which era succeeded it. Modernization and advancement are closely related to the progress of technology development. It is believed that in the future, due to the increasingly rapid development of technology, new epochs in design will occur more and more often.
