The accelerated development of modern technologies in logistics improves the level of efficiency and increases the level of service quality of the entire supply chain in the global logistics market. The basic functions of packaging, as a logistics subsystem, are: protective function, distribution function, information and marketing function. In addition to conventional packaging, smart packaging is increasingly being used to monitor the product during its lifetime, analyze and control the environment inside or outside the packaging to inform its producers, sellers or consumers about the state of the product at all times.
