THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF REMOVING SUSPENDED SOLIDS FROM THE WASTEWATER OF THE RUBBER RECYCLING FACTORY

Abstract

The paper presents a viable solution of the problem of removal of suspended solids from wastewater generated by a rubber recycling factory. The theoretical part of the research is based on existing literature, whereas the experimental part is based on the analysis of a wastewater sample taken from the factory. Firstly, the basic characteristics of wastewater, which are defined by its physical and chemical characteristics, the presence of suspended solids and their influence on quality of the collected wastewater are described. The paper shows a detailed overview of the materials and methods used to remove these pollutants. The final results of the laboratory experiments were adequately analyzed and presented, confirming the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed solutions.
