Abstract

This paper presents Fire Protection Rules with an Evacuation Plan for the needs of a mechanical engineering design office in Novi Sad. The research involved a four-stage calculation to determine the evacuation time in a scenario where employees are located in the kitchen, the farthest point from the exit. The result, an evacuation time of 178 seconds, ensures a high level of safety in case of a fire. Importantly, all employees successfully completed the fire protection training, validating the effectiveness of the research.
