THE APPLICATION OF LEAN TOOLS FOR INCREASING EFFICIENCY IN A MOTORCYCLE REPAIR WORKSHOP

Abstract

This paper examines the application of Lean tools to improve the efficiency of a motorcycle repair workshop in Bačko Petrovo Selo, Serbia. The research addresses issues such as disorganization, inefficient use of resources, and delays in service delivery. By implementing the 5S technique and Kaizen methods, notable improvements were achieved in workplace organization, tool management, and overall productivity. The results highlight the potential of Lean management principles to optimize operations and promote sustainable development in small businesses.
