STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AS A SUCCESS FACTOR IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY PROJECTS
Abstract
Effective stakeholder management in automotive industry projects contributes to improved control over timelines, cost, and quality, especially during complex development phases. The case study on the development of a top cover for a head-up display demonstrates how a combination of phase gates and short technical iterations enables faster decision-making and enhanced traceability of results. The use of standardized methodologies (PMBOK, ISO) and analytical tools (CMM and GOM) reduces risk and increases operational discipline. The role of stakeholders is analyzed using the power–interest and salience models, supported by clearly defined communication flows. The findings show that disciplined engagement of all actors significantly increases the likelihood of successful industrial project execution.
