Abstract

Combined road-rail transport is by many regarded as the universal solution to a wide range of problems related to increased freigh transport, cooperation between road nad rail transport, as well as to the problems of national railways restructuring. However, such expectations have not been fully fulfilled, in particualr from the political decisions and creating transport strategy point of view. The reasons for such situations is bz many considered to be related to the organisation of combined transport actors and market. Hence, the main goal of this This paper is to help resolving this problem by creating additional literature in this context.
