Evacuation modelling of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad

Abstract

In the scope of the research, an analysis of evacuation conditions was conducted, an evacuation calculation and model were created, and an evacuation simulation was performed for the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad in the event of a fire. The aim of the study is to identify deficiencies and formulate proposals for improving fire safety and evacuation conditions of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, through a comparative analysis of the results obtained by the software model (Pathfinder) and the assessment of compliance with the technical requirements for safe evacuation.
