Abstract

This paper presents a model for the approximate dynamic analysis of N-storey frame structures using a system of equivalent springs. This approach allows for a simplified determination of natural frequencies and mode shapes of the structure's oscillation, overcoming the limitations of static analysis. A software application was developed using C# and WPF technologies, based on the MVVM architectural pattern, enabling engineers and students to quickly calculate stiffness and mass parameters and subsequently perform vibration analysis in the first mode. The validation of the results through comparison with approximate engineering methods confirmed the application's high reliability, establishing a link between theoretical mechanics and practical software implementation in the field of structural design.
