Digital Transformation in Construction: the Role of Artificial Intelligence and Modern Technologies in Improving Productivity Through Design, Construction, and Maintenance Phases
Abstract
Digital transformation represents one of the most significant processes in the modern construction industry, aiming to increase productivity, efficiency, and sustainability throughout the entire life cycle of a building. This paper analyzes the application of modern technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Twins in the design, construction, and maintenance phases. Special attention is given to how these technologies enhance collaboration, resource optimization, and cost reduction.
