Architectural Narratives in the Reimagination of Urban Identity: “Satelit” Market in Novi Sad
Abstract
Narratives construct the framework through which individuals situate themselves within interpretations of significant processes. A deeper inquiry into their role in re-articulating meaning reveals a crucial step toward understanding the qualities of the physical environment, defined as urban identity. Its reimagination, adapted to user needs and site-specific conditions, envisions the future place as an experiential whole. This approach is embodied in the architectural concept for the Satelit Market in Novi Sad, proposed as a reference model for further urban research and the revitalization of this typology.
