SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Abstract

This paper explores the application of agile methodologies to improve the sustainability of construction projects. It focuses on integrating flexible management approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean with principles of green building, energy efficiency, and social responsibility. Through a combination of literature review and three case studies, the paper identifies key benefits such as enhanced stakeholder management, improved transparency, and better resource control. Recommendations are provided for implementation in Serbia, with a focus on instituional barriers and opporutnities.
