Abstract
In this paper is presented serial generation of thematic maps using packages available in the Python programming language. The theoretical part of the paper covers the basics of cartography and the methods used for creating thematic maps, as well as the connection between cartography and other fields. Through Practican, a graphical user interface was created for selecting the desired municipality and a function designed to automatically generate thematic maps based on the loaded layers.
