Testing of Surge Protection Modules for Low-Voltage Cables
- Milan Banjac
- Dejan Jerkan
Abstract
This paper analyzes the function of the surge protection module in power strip, as well as its impact on protecting end users connected to that power strip. It explains what surges are and their key characteristics, along with the function of the components contained within the surge protection module. The operating principle of the module itself is also described.
