Abstract

The paper presents a procedure for the automation of pressure vessel design for fluid storage in accordance with the EN 13445 standard. The construction of the pressure vessel is described in detail, as well as the process of creating the CAD (Computer Aided Design) model, with the application of computational analyses to verify the geometry and optimize the design based on the obtained results. Furthermore, the paper shows how dedicated software tools can be effectively used as an adequate alternative to specialized design software.
