The aim of this study was to determine the difference between the ways of decision making regarding the gender of employees, their age, years of work experience and the hierarchical level of position in company in the context of proactive decision making. The survey included 103 respondents from 10 different companies. The obtained results showed that older employees, employees with more work experience and employees on higher hierarchical position in the company positively influenced on proactive decisions, while the gender of employees did not have influence on proactive decision making,
