The Assessment and Repair of RC Structure of Public Building in Novi Sad

Abstract

The study consists of a research part and a professional (practical) part. The research part provides an overview of the types of defects and their impact on the durability of reinforced concrete (RC) structures. In the professional part, an assessment of the condition of an RC structure of a public building in Novi Sad is presented. In order to determine the level of damage and propose appropriate repair measures, a detailed visual inspection of all accessible structural elements was conducted. Based on the analysis of the identified defects and damages, as well as the results of field and laboratory testing, a set of repair measures was proposed with the aim of ensuring the load-bearing capacity and durability of the structure.
