Assessment and Repair of RC Structure of a Multi-Story Business Building in Novi Sad

Abstract

The study consists of a research part and a professional (practical) part. The first part of the research provides an overview of reinforced concrete (RC) piles, their types, and construction techniques. The second part of the research presents a more detailed description of continuous flight auger (CFA) piles. In the professional part, an assessment of the RC structure of a business building in Novi Sad was carried out. In order to determine the degree of damages and propose repair works, a detailed visual inspection of all accessible structural elements was conducted. Based on the analysis of the identified defects and damage, a set of repair measures was proposed with the aim of ensuring the durability of the structure.
