Abstract

The topic of the thesis is the development of an IoT system used for monitoring beehives, reading measurements from sensors inside the hive boxes and sensors located at the aviary. The sensor system is composed of smart sensors, gateway device responsible for communicating with the server via the mobile network, and a local server running Homeassistant application to display measurements and statistics gathered at the aviary.
