DESIGN OF CHAMBER DRYER FOR MUSHROOMS

Abstract

This paper represents an example of calculation and design of convective hot air chamber dryer with trays for drying mushrooms. Aim of this paper is analysis of few possible solutions for heating of drying air, with focus on use of renewable energy sources instead conventional fuels, especialy heat pumps. Based on defined system for heating air, suitable design of represented dryer is selected.
