RESEARCHING OF INFLUENCE OF LOCAL FLOW RESISTANCE PLACED IN THE FRONT OF ORIFICE METER ON FLOW PARAMETARS
Abstract
The subject of this thesis is orifice meter, device for fluid flow rate measurement. The aim was to analyse and determine influence of local flow resistance placed in front of orifice meter on the flow parametars: pressure drop, pressure loss, fluid energy loss and discharge coefficient. It`s considered orifice meter with single (SHO) and orifice meter with multiple fluid hole openings (MHO). Analysis was done by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
