COUNTY JAIL IN NOVI SAD

Abstract

The main idea of this work is the provision of a modern facility for serving sentences of persons against whom criminal proceedings are being conducted, at the selected location in Novi Sad. The aim of the project is to point out the needs of a modern institution for a space that provides a sense of security, to punish the one who breaks the law, but also to influence the prisoner's further behavior, in order to prevent him from repeating the same mistake in his future life. The basic motive of the work is to present a district prison as a center for re-education and suppression of criminal offenses. The object from the outside should provide a sense of security and rest, while the inner, prison part symbolizes the punishment.
