EVALUATING LONG-TERM RISKS AND LANDFILL MANAGEMENT AFTER CLOSING

Abstract
Landfills are elements of a waste management system, which have a time constraint character. After their effective operation and closure of the landfill, there is a post-care period, the duration of which is very difficult to define in advance, and therefore the costs that this period implies. The goal is to determine when and under what conditions the subsequent care period can be completed and how much financial reserve it entails.
