Abstract
The paper presents the current situation in the field of electronic and electrical waste management in the territory of Novi Sad, the directives in the field of waste management and their application in the EU countries, as well as the law and regulations that apply in our country. Research that was conducted on the territory of the city, as well as the results obtained by evaluating the data together with recommendations in order to improve the waste management system at the local level are also presented.
