ANALYSIS OF ADVANTAGES AND APPLICATION OF PHOROUS ASPHALT IN CONTEMPORARY CIVIL ENGINEERING

Abstract

This guideline for submitting a manuscript for the Proceedings of the Faculty of Technical Sciences is given for publication of scientific and technical papers. This paper presents the advantages and application of porous asphalt pavements, parking lots, etc. Based on previous studies conclusions were made about implementation, maintenance, and sanation of porous asphalts in terms of prolonging its life cycle and life-cost cycle. The goal was to form a uniform opinion about adequate methods of strengthening the structure of porous asphalts and to form a clear opinion about its limitations.  Porous asphalt pavements presented itself like a viable solution for building pavements, parking lots, etc. in urban areas, and highway construction. Due to his drainage capabilities, showed great results in areas with high precipitation throughout the year.
