Abstract

This paper deals with application of machine learning in relay protection during the start of asynchronous machines. The goal is to show advantages and different benefits of this type of analysis in regards to standard calculations during the motor start. Considerations have been made on a large number of different topologies in order to achieve the most accurate prediction model.
