COORDINATION OF OVERCURRENT PROTECTION WITH INVERSE CHARACTERISTIC IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

This paper deals with adjustment of relay protection on distribution feeder. Protection relays with different types of inverse characteristics are being used, as well as fuses. It is checked if coordination between the protections is being satisfied in two cases. The first situation covers the case of protection by relays only, while the second situation covers the protection combination of relays and fuses. In the end, it is checked coordination of protection in real networks.
