MODERN OUTDOOR LIGHTING USING LED

Abstract

In this paper use of LED outdoor lighting on the example of the electric power installations project of public lighting of the residential blocks 3, 4, and 5 on Jugovićevo in Novi Sad is analyzed. The aim of the project is to provide energy-efficient lighting of sufficient quality and quantity for safety and to increase visibility and productivity in a pleasant environment. The basic principles of LED technology and outdoor lighting systems are explained, as well as a comparison of lighting design software.
