This paper presents the geodetic survey and state of cadastrale on the territory of the Kosovo and Metohija for the past 70 years. The analysis of the cadastral situation before 1999 and the situation thereafter is also included. Also, basic characteristics of the land are presented and a comparative analysis of the situation before 1999 and afterwards was made. Geodetic works and basic characteristics of the territory of the political municipality of Prizren are presented in greater detail.
