Defining pollution prevention measures and improving the environmental management system in the organization "RiTE – Rudnik i Termoelektrana Ugljevik"

Abstract

In this paper, on the example of a specific organization, an analysis of the environmental manage­ment system is performed. Using appropriate methods and techniques (Ishikawa diagram, FMEA analysis), the identification and evaluation of the causes of environ­mental pollution, caused by the work of the organization, was performed. Based on the results of the analysis, meas­ures for pollution prevention and improvement of the environmental management system are proposed and the costs of implementing the measures are presented.
