Abstract

This paper consists of two parts: the first part explains the basics of IoT (Internet of Things). The focus is on the communication protocols used in IoT, their properties and areas of application. The second part of the paper explains security issues at all levels in IoT, and provides possible solutions / prevention measures to protect the system.
