Abstract

This paper provides a concise explanation of the field of Machine Learning, its algorithms, and its applications. Additionally, the algorithms for face detection and recognition are thoroughly explained with examples and images. Machine Learning is a branch of Artificial intelligence that enables computers to learn and improve based on experience without explicit programming. One of the applications of Machine learning is face detection and recognition, which involves identifying human faces in digital images or videos.
